The company is based in the "last of the summer wine" area in Honley, close to Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. The company was established by Lynne McLaren in 1996 and quickly gained a strong reputation throughout the industry for innovative products and excellent service.

They don't have a minimum order value and will provide trimmings in cut lengths down to a minimum length of a one metre and one off tie backs. Most items are held in stock and they aim to deliver next day on orders placed before 2pm, for delivery in mainland UK.

All tie backs and trimmings are exclusive to The Handsome Trimming Company in the UK and Ireland and as a specialist Trimmings company, they're able to offer a unique bespoke service for tie backs enabling them to adjust, rebuild, lengthen or shorthen embraces, convert singles to doubles or light pulls and tailor many of their tie backs to suit customer requirements.
